# How to opt-out of ChatGPT training without clearing conversation history OpenAI provides [a Google Form for opting out of data collection on ChatGPT](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScrnC-_A7JFs4LbIuzevQ_78hVERlNqqCPCt3d8XqnKOfdRdQ/closedform). They'll eventually send you a link to [this portal](https://privacy.openai.com/policies), which seems to do the same thing. > When you use our non-API consumer services ChatGPT or DALL-E, we may use the > data you provide us to improve our models.
