# Don't Play Near Black Holes

There you are -- at the center of your universe.

Your universe is a wonderful place. You used to explore it fearlessly. Long ago,
you used to dance naked and play in cardboard boxes. But all boxes become small
in time.

You discovered that your universe is filled with gaping black holes. Black holes
seem benign. There are black holes in your library, your local bar, and even
your computer.

Black holes don't hurt. Black holes don't feel like anything. Search your memory
for gaps. What did you do yesterday? What did you do last year? You may have
been in a big black hole. There is no way to recover those memories.

If there's a black hole in your phone, throw it out. If there's one in your
career, find a new job. Black holes steal from you the sole thing that makes
life into living. Don't play near black holes.
